The Holyhead Fixing Hub

The Holyhead Fixing Hub repairs and repurposes items collected from recycling centres across Ynys Môn, preventing them from going to waste. Our team restores furniture, electricals, and household goods, giving them a second life. These repaired items are sold at the St David’s Hospice shop, helping to fund their essential care services. The hub also runs workshops to teach practical repair skills, promoting sustainability and a circular economy. By fixing instead of discarding, we reduce landfill waste and create quality, affordable items for the community.

Cylchol

Cylchol is one of Menter Môn’s projects, which helps to promote a circular economy across Ynys Môn and Gwynedd, through exciting community events and workshops held at spaces like Ffiws. Click to find out more.

Repair Café

Many of the Ffiws spaces are also participating in the Repair Café project. In their simplest form, repair cafes are events held at regular dates where the local community can repair their broken household items for free by volunteers. The types of things we repair include clothes, household electrical appliances, technology, carpentry, children’s toys, furniture, bikes.

Ffiws makerspaces are located across Ynys Môn and Gwynedd.
All locations are community run and open to all.

We rely on volunteers and professional technicians to ensure
a rewarding user experience. Please contact us if you would like
