Ffiws Porthmadog | Hwb Arloesi

Welcome to Hwb Arloesi; Menter Môn’s multipurpose and creative space in Porthmadog. A nest of activity that weaves, combines and germinates ideas – encouraging creativity and developing new skills by nurturing our very own enterprising community on the High Street.

It’s also home to our Ffiws space where there’s a range of high-tech tools to experiment and develop ideas. Everyone is welcome here – from creative children to adults looking to learn a new skill and businesses wanting to develop products!

We have four experienced technicians to support you during your visit; Wyn and Ryan can show you how to use Ffiws machines, Angharad is here to help you with textile projects and Bethan can breathe new life into your jewellery!

We also run a repair café one Saturday a month – come and fix your bikes, clothes and jewellery! Sian also joins us one Sunday a month to run an upholstery club – beginners and experienced alike are welcome.
