Hwb Menter

Business support is available, thanks to the Enterprise Hub. The Enterprise Hub provides entrepreneurs with the knowledge, guidance, inspiration and space to transform their idea into a successful business. Services offered include co-working office spaces, a community of like-minded individuals to share ideas and offer encouragement, business advice, a range of events as well as the newly released Miwtini business start-up programme. And the best bit is, all of this is at no cost as a Hub member for at least 6 months!

Repair Café

Many of the Ffiws spaces are also participating in the Repair Café project. In their simplest form, repair cafes are events held at regular dates where the local community can repair their broken home items for free by volunteers.

The types of things we repair include clothes, household electrical appliances, technology, carpentry, children's toys, furniture, bikes.

The Ffiws makerspaces are available in several communities in Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy. Each Ffiws is run by the community and open to all. We rely on volunteers to make each Ffiws successful, and ideally a long term feature in these locations. If you’d like to take part as a regular volunteer please contact sofie@m-sparc.com

We are also looking for Makers in Residence. A professional maker will work with us on a paid commission piece, and will work from a Ffiws workshop. In return for residency and stipend, we ask the maker to showcase the space and their work to others, and facilitate some events and induction sessions. To find out more please contact us on sofie@m-sparc.com
